King Engineering offers a wide range of professional engineering and land surveying services associated with site/civil engineering, land  development and land surveying to both the public and private sectors. Our team consists of licensed professional engineers and land surveyors, along with highly skilled and experienced site designers, field crew members, project managers and administrative staff members that are dedicated to ensure that your project, whether small or large, is completed in a timely manner, within budget and most important, a successful project.

Engineering & Design

We offer the experience and knowledge of the various aspects that lie within all types of civil engineering and land surveying and mapping projects for the purpose of providing our clients with a successful and cost-effective project. We have been involved in a variety of civil engineering design, permitting and construction management projects ranging in scope from large scale roadway reconstruction design, new roadway design, residential site plan design for small subdivisions and subdivisions of more than 100 lots, commercial and industrial site plan design for sites of 50 or more acres, new utility design (sanitary, storm sewer and watermain), stormwater management system design for sites of 50 or more acres, and floodplain analysis of watershed areas of 1,300 acres or more. 

Our recent civil engineering projects include: the design of 3,300 feet of roadway widening and reconstruction; A FEMA floodplain study for a 1,300 acre watershed for the purpose of revising the existing FIRM Panels; A forty (40) lot industrial park subdivision that  included the design of a new roadway with curb and gutter, railroad lead and spur tracks, storm sewer, watermain, sanitary sewer and stormwater management system; A design of a PILOT truck stop facility expansion including watermain and sanitary extensions, reconstruction of 1,300 feet of public roadway, civil site design and grading of parking lots, and stormwater management plan.  We also performed the permitting, bid preparation, construction layout and construction management services for these projects.

Surveying & Mapping

Our professional land surveying projects range in scope from boundary surveys for sites up to 2,000 acres or more, ALTA surveys for sites of 2,000 acres or more, residential and industrial plats of subdivisions of 100 or more lots, topographic surveys for sites of 1,000 acres or more, legal description preparation subdivisions and easements and construction layout for private and public projects. 

Our recent land surveying and mapping projects include: A PILOT truck stop facility expansion which entailed topographic, boundary and ALTA surveys, plats of easements, construction layout of private and public infrastructure and an as-built survey for all improvements; An ALTA/As-built survey for a new hospital facility on approximately 40 acres including legal description preparation, location of public roadway improvements, infrastructure utility improvements, building improvements, stormwater management system improvements and parking lot improvements; An industrial park subdivision with services involving legal description preparation, plat of subdivision, topographic survey, construction layout for roadway, utilities and stormwater management system; and A storm sewer mapping project including location of all storm sewer structures and appurtenances, elevation data for grates and inverts and the preparation of a master facilities plan for the storm sewer system.
